Is the term Girl Boss a help or hurt to women’s leadership.
I recently finished the chapter in Rachel Hollis’s latest book in which she expresses her disappointment around the use of the term ‘girl boss’. I definitely see her point of view that it could be seen as a qualifier and box women into a less than role of their male counterparts. I've also had the opposite view of these types of terms to been more of an enhancement. The other side is that a women boss is so far superior than the typical boss because women seem to have a more balanced approach to leading others. I also really like the idea that this term is fun and creates hype. This adds to the approach that women bosses are cooler. I would really love to hear what others think.
